Library of Congress

The Library of Congress website provides information about the services that the Library of Congress offers to the blind and visually impaired. Their services include the distribution of talking books for the blind and visually impaired, braille books for the blind and visually impaired, and large print books for the visually impaired.

National Federation of the Blind

The National Federation for the Blind is one of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious organizations to support the blind and visually impaired community. The National Federation of the Blind will be here for years to come, assisting blind and visually impaired individuals to develop the skills they need to lead productive, independent, lives.

Lighthouse, Inc.

Lighthouse has been leading the charge in the fight against vision loss for over 100 years. They do all that they can to open new doors for the blind and visually impaired, through prevention, treatment and empowerment.

American Council of the Blind

Since 1960, the American Council of the Blind has fought for the creation of the policies that shape the opportunities available to Americans with disabilities. The American Council of the Blind believes that all people, no matter their disability status, should be treated equally.

American Foundation for the Blind

The American Foundation for the Blind is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enable blind and visually impaired people to achieve access and opportunity. The AFB envisions a world where people with vision loss are granted equal access and opportunity.
